In gathering data at land surveying, you always need a tool that you can calculate some important problem very quickly and if some data is missing or out of range you can read that data again. Moreover In some class exercises and assignments, you need to calculate some basic problems quickly and easily.
These programs can work under Texas Instrument Calculator such as: TI-89, TI-89-Titanium, and TI-Voyage 200. (My own calculator is TI-89-Titanium. It can simply be converted and ported for other brands and models.)
This package contains some important and basic program in surveying problems:
- Polygon calculations: This problem is the most famous and basic problem in surveying. The program can find coordination, side length, area, perimeter and other information of polygon’s problem in certain types of data entry that may gathered in field and correct the errors. These are types of data entry:
- Sides length, Corner Angles, Gizman of th first side
- Sides length, Gizman of every side
- Coordination of each corner
- Tachymetry problem
- Finding coordination of a point by knowing the distances form 3 fixed and known point
- Some other useful programs
